"Tales from the Eridian slab" achievement not unlocking

Collected all 39, been spamming E on the slab in Tannis' lab as some people have said on forums, restarted the game like 6 times now to no avail.
Apparently this achievement is bugged on console too and was never fixed... :/

This game has been out on PC longer than it's been on steam, how are most of the bugs and performance issues not fixed?
It's so buggy and performs so poorly even on high end rigs it just amazes me.

Finally unlocked after beating my E key into oblivion for 10 minutes straight
I still don't believe anyone else should have to go through this.

Had the same issue but for me it was like 5-10 times hitting E

Did you just mash E on empty or did it also perform the animation?
I did it like 4 times and the game wont let me "inspect" (doing the reading animation) anymore and i already have every single eridian slab collected.

I installed this game after months and I got 11 achievements which was not popping up. But this Tales From The Eridian Slab is still not working. Trying my best to spam EEEE.

I got Tales from the Eridian Slab immediately after getting the Eridian Analyzer, that is a bug right?

I got the Achievement after only reading a few slabs.
I was actually disappointed because I didn't "earn" it properly.
And now have no reason to go look for the rest.

Hi everyone

So for those having issues with the achievement, it can completely bugged for different people. A friend of mine got it no problem but I'm pretty sure he made a more recent character/it was newer compared to mine, which is a FL4K that is about 3 years old. But what actually gave me the achievement was doing a whole new character and reaching to the part where you kill troy and get the analyzer for the first time. Then I made my way to the first Eridian writing in Pandora: The Droughts, and it gave me the achievement right away. I didn't need to get the other ones. Not sure if it connects to your other character, or anything like that, but it wasn't too bad speeding through the game on a new character, considering I had almost max guardian rank. This was my last achievement for 100% and I tried absolutely everything and nothing helped: I used an Auto clicker on the "Inspect" slab for 10 min, used another save file that had 21/30 slabs remaining, and tried joining a friend to unlock it. Hope this helps guys!

To add onto this - I don't think it is related to your other characters, but maybe some sketchy-at-best conditions in the background.

Reason I say that is - I had just bought this around a month ago, and was rolling Siren as I usually do for the first run with my last PC BLands being 2, and the first glyph I scanned was the one on Nekrotephayo (probably spelled that wrong lol), and was the one in the Temple you do the second "hot-spot" for the VR game side quest when it is in the temple. Hit the glyph once I showed up and immediately got the achievement.

At first I thought I got it for doing my first one or all of them for that region of the planet, but nope - one and done (fortunately/unfortunately - not sure which though as I am usually a collect-a-holic )
