Get Quick, Slick
So I'm stuck on the log jump portion of the mission in the title. I've tried at least a dozen times, with several of the jumps perfectly clearing the logs. I read somewhere that you have to get above 68 miles per hour as you leave the ramp, tried that and it didn't work. I'm not sure what the issue is - whether it's bugged or not - but it hasn't changed even after restrarting the game. Would appreciate some help on the subject.

Haven't had any problems with that. You have a 3 stage booster use 1st to get a speed, second when you about to go airborne from the first ramp and the the 3rd one once you land to the first island.

To clarify you'll need to jump off of the both ramps.

I'm not talking about the three-step jump or whatever it is that comes after the log jump. I'm talking about specifically the log jump. For some reason no matter what I do, it doesn't accept the jump I make over the log pile.
I'm having the exact same issue!!! I'm so frustrated, since this is the last quest I need for the side quest achievement. No matter what I do, the game just tells me I'm not boosting enough or its a weak jump, and refuses to let me proceed.

I'm also stuck on the Jump Over Logs portion. I am boosting, getting up to speed, and landing on the ramp on the other side. No matter what I do, I'm told (mid air) Hit the boost! or Weak jump!. Not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if it's bugged. :\

Edit: I'm at 69mph when I hit the ramp, and immediately boost to prevent loss, but as soon as I hit the edge, it reads around 61-66mph, and remains there until I land, when it reads at 71mph. If this quest requires being at over 68mph, do we have to maintain 68+ while in the air??

Solution found! (Though probably not the one devs intended.) If your problem is specifically "I perform a perfect jump but the game keeps telling me to HIT THE BOOST, THE BOOOOST", ask a friend to join you, get them to sit in the quest car, then get yourself any Outrunner from Catch-a-Ride (looks like it has to be an Outrunner specifically, since Cyclone didn't work here) and perform the jumps. Been stuck on this for weeks, finally completed it today. Worked both for the logs jump and the big jump.

The last long jump.

Do not run over any rams.

From the point of the Long Run Ram. - Go all the way back. --- Really way back. - That's where the road up out of the swamp.

From the end point - Speed up forward - DO NOT USE BOOST YET! - Once you are near the Long Ram - near the lower edge of the Ram and (approximately 8 meters from the edge)- press the Boost to jump. - Keep pressing the boost key and control the OutRunner and aim straight for the end point.

It is just very tricky as the OutRunner is very hard to control.

POSSIBLE SOLUTION TO THE LOG JUMP STAGE
TL;DR: Do the jump from the other side.

It turns out I was trying to do it backwards the whole time. Maybe I'm the only one. I dunno. But maybe this will help someone else out there not get as annoyed as I was. Happy looting!

Okay, I finally found the solution. First of all, this doesn't seem to be a bug, but rather poor optimisation on low-end systems. You might notice that sometimes the dialogue triggers in mid-air. Seems like you have a limited amount of time between the start of the jump and the landing, and lag will make you fly for longer on low-end systems.

FIX: Go to Options>Visuals and set type to windowed, lowest resolution possible. It helps if you also set Resolution scaling to 50%. This should reduce your lag to levels that the game will deem acceptable.

Don't hit boost in mid-air lol
Hit boost before you hit the ramp.

right.. I'm an idiot for the LOG JUMP. THE LOG JUMP. I was doing it BACKWARDS. I literally jumped it from the other side and made it, first try. I mean, this is BORDERLANDS. not freakin' Elden Ring.
