this game has a LOT OF BUTTONS to use though...
The Steam Controller also comes with a lot of buttons you can use. P:
there
are
a
lot
of buttons.
Good thing I'm using K&M then.
Well I mean more so with the mouse and gamepad controls. Not every game lets me set my right track pad to mouse resulting in awkward aim in some games.
I just made a quick list, because I'm a geek. Aside from WASD, there are eleven keybinds I use with any kind of frequency. Once in a while, something pops up ("Hit Z to honk your vehicle's horn"), but these are literally 99.9% of my key presses in all BL games:
jump
sprint
crouch
use (E)
ability
reload
melee
grenade
secondary use (Q)
Esc
I/Tab/etc [if you actually want to be able to use the different tabs - inventory, map, etc - without clicking, you'd need a couple more]
But it is a really awesome tool to control my PC from the couch. Every button on the keyboard has a layout on it.
That is perfectly wrong
It has several modes for its touchstick and one of them is actually simulating a real stick with a tilt to the position of your finger on the pad. Been using a Steam-Controller for about one and half a year now and I can tell by experience you first have your described feeling but after getting into what makes the Steam Controller THE Steam Controller it is way more powerfull than any other alternative Gamepad on the market
That's what I don't get too. I mean it's a console focused game. If anything a controller is what it was designed for lol
Also the people complaining about the Steam controller just don't know how to use it. You can use either PS4 or XBO controller and get the button prompts from either one
