Besides antagonist and other characters, here's the slope of playable characters:

BL1:
Roland: Black, straight and male.
Mordecai: Even while seeming Spanish

There's nothing left for the major group of gaming, straight white men.

Not to mention how the story keeps becoming more insanely stronk girl power, while men are boring bumbling fools who don't add to the story. Also the story has been going down hill, filled with more and more Marry Sues. It's getting really hard, no pun intended Randy Pitchford, to wanna enjoy the series.

We're left with through each iteration less white straight men.

Lastly, traditional meaning 95% of the gaming community: White, straight and male.

He's the leading developer, the one in charge of the narrative as a whole, also for most characters he's the one who says they're gay or asexual in meetings on camera.

Personally, I have never been triggered by a video game in my life. It seems a very strong reaction to imaginary gay characters anyway but we each have our red lines.

Yeah, but atleast we had strong men as playable characters and strong men leads... like handsome Jack and Marcus, there was a mission where you recovered nudes of Moxxi for Marcus. They were definitely a bit more on men's side, you know the majoritive of conglomerate of gaming.
