You can play the game offline

So on the epic store there's an offline mode. press skip login. the only thing that doesn't work is dlc. (internet went out for days) Now if this is unintennded they should fix it but if you didn't buy the dlc then you can play the game without online and it saves your progress not to mention on epic it lets you know if cloud or local is the newer save. the game is very performance heavy on lower systems.

nope. ofc you'd need to update in order to do so. there is a thing that says hotfixes applied not sure what it does. but havn't come across any game breaking bugs yet. arn't hotfixes minor updates? if that's the case they should be availble if you update the game. you can play if the game needs to update and unlike steam i think epic's offline mode prob lasts indefinatly if you truly have no internet connection

yah but steam's offline mode has a timer before it doesn't work to prevent people from abusing refunds. epic might too but i havn't looked up to find out if it does.

Idk about that timer, unless its with a recent purchase. I didn't have internet for 8 days, everything worked fine for titles i've owned for a long time.

well just letting people know that epic has one now so if they give the complaint steam has offline mode epic doesn't they're wrong.

Cool, and as long as BL3 doesn't have any additional DRM, or Randy didn't slap Steam DRM into it, people can also play offline by just booting the .exe. If not, there's always other ways.

if offline mode works there then it has to work on steam. just seen some people complain about offline and seeing how battleborn their previous game was online only some might think that.
