Weapon Firing Order
I have read many posts about this but I can't seem to put my finger on how the game decides which weapon is fired first and last.. What I mean is, when you place two bombs on either side of a plane, what makes the game say "launch the left one first" when you hit the fire button? I play on PC, if that makes a difference, I heard on mobile that it depends on which weapon is placed first, but that is not the case on PC, at least for me it isn't.

I've been playing this game for a while now, and there are some interesting mechanisms that I've tried building that require me to specify which weapon fires first, and that is impossible to do without using up all of your action groups, and even then the process is incredibly inefficient. Also, another thing that would be nice is the ability to force weapons to fire simultaneously, for example, having a helicopter which fires both rocket launchers at the same time (without having to mess with the delay times on the rockets)

Any modders out there who can make this happen? Or maybe this should even be in the vanilla game?

It seems like it fires weapons close to the center of the plane first and works outwards. This is the opposite of what I think it should be, because it hurts handling.

You can sort of get stuff to fire simultaniously. When you place a weapons pylon, specify what activation group it is. Then, when you have several pylons with the same activation group, you activate them and if they have missiles, they'll fire together.

Not my experience tbh. I usually equip four missiles of a kind on my plane's belly (2 left 2 right, one pair in front of the other), and the game always fires both from one side before firing from the other. It kills the balance like you wouldn't believe.
