Help with Ice Base
I've been wanting to explore the tundra area, and found the heavily defended ice base on the side of the mountain. How do I beat their sams? Their missles are unbeliably accurate, even knocking my own missles out of the air. I managed to take their turrets out once with bomb, but crashed into the hanger when attempting to land there. Then of course I had to restart with the sams intact again. Getting really frustrated with this part. Please any suggestions would be helpful.

I think once you manage to get the starting point in the base and start from there the sams are deactivated.

Create an electronic warfare plane with flares and cleaver missiles. Then rekt their ass. Then create a custom point in the base.

They can use their LOML (Lock on missile launchers) quicker than the destroyers do. Also mind to not use cleavers on most planes because you won't be able to make it away from the blast when it's shot out the sky, and even then, it's useless. Cleavers are slow, but don't give up there. If you can assign 4 infernos to a AG to launch, you can distract their laser system for a bit. And for the missiles, there are so many, I find it hard to see past all the smoke trying to land some bombs or missiles. I always go with firepower when I deal with these missiles. Get some 2 machine gunes in front of your cockpit for accurate fire, and dont turn too much so the missiles come straight at you. When they're in range, just hold your shooting button (spacebar) to take the missiles out.

Although the missiles are strong, they aren't always fatal. A Millenium falcon build (It's very popular) has a good round shape and spreads out the pressure from a direct hit around the body, dealing you little to know damage if you're hit from the back or diagional back sides. Another spaceship, called the Hornet's domain, is invincible to bullets and explosion percussions, and can take at LEAST 2 missiles to the hull before breaking apart.

The best idea is to make a custom missile that has self propulsion (like rockets) and is armed with BoomX25, or BoomX50. Even a Guardian will do if you're trying to keep light, just be accurate.
use vtol engined car to infilarete the ice base from blue glacial park after than start from airbase

I Managed to crashland a Plane inside the runway/base, and I used the default "Little Bugger" to set another custom location inside the actual Hangar, I havent been able to get the actual location for the base tho.

The Sams seem friendly if you spawn directly inside the base first thing, but they'll attack if you spawn anywhere else.

Only real challenge after that is probably landing inside the base without absolutley destroying yourself in the process.

It's not exactly the coolest place either, all it really is runway and a hangar, and it isnt a good place to put large craft in there either, its small, and also extremly hard taking off from there as well.

I am wondering the same thing. The best advice I can give you is to make the most manuverable plane as possible, so you can get as close to the missle base as possible, so you can get a good blow on the base without then catching your missles before they get there.

and do sams/aa-tanks detect seperate parts? or do they only aim for the cockpit/main piece/plane, because it could be possible to make a kamikaze plane to fly into the base to blow up the sams and then taking the main plane to land inside.

I made a video on this a LONG time ago, when it was even harder: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GuH7QGuvo54

Nowadays, with chaff/flares and the new anti-anti-air missiles, I'm surprised this is difficult at all. I'll have to do it again and see if it has changed since I did it back then.

It's tricky, but can be done. Don't bother with Cleavers for this, too slow. Use Infernos only. You have to approach the base from below and at an extreme angle from the side, so that only one laser/missile launcher can target you or your missiles. If you approach it from the front, where both lasers/missile launchers can engage you and your weapons, you'll never defeat it. There is just enough time for your missiles to lock on when you approach that way, but it works. Take out one side, and then the other.

That's a good idea, but a frontal approach is just as possible, if you gather a ton of infernos that have low firingdelay or just attach them to activation groups, you'll get the lasers busy with decoy rockets while you slip in a cleaver and take out the whole thing.

This is true. I just prefer a more surgical approach. I wonder if the lasers will take out bombs while in the air? Even if they do, if a couple are dropped close, that might take them out as well.

It does work, under *some* circumstances. The bombs have to be deployed, so they can't be knocked off or disjointed via detatcher. Only deployed/armed bombs will be seen as a threat.

But the hard part (for me at least) is that to carry enough bombs to reach the base and blow them up, would make the plane ultimately too heavy of a bomber to esacpe the blast radius before they explode...

...But that can be easily fixed using a speedy jet and strapping a few light bombs to it.

It's all about knowing how to jink the missle. When you hear it getting close change direction twice really quickly. Get it going right just as you turn up and left. Don;t try to change your direction completely just do it qucik enough that you can out turn the missle.

If you don't have an aircraft that can do it download some of mine in game name VailinPeral (just stay away from the Rafale it's a bit washy)

just get one of the spaceship maker's planes and yeet in

Trick is to go so fast the atoms on your plane start breaking apart, then completely stop overtop and carpet bomb
