tried a few emulator like DS4 and still i simply can't turn ships using right stick while the left sticks works perfectly, while most other gamepad supported game don't have a single issue.
may buy again when the game is not in early access quality and require less player side bug fix.
if the dev aren't fixing while saying emulator could fix it and play with no problem, listed them as required with links to download. Saying that unreal engine not support xinput bla bla bla don't help anything when others game just work.
either joystick or gamepad support would be nice, since i will mostly play this in VR. And its next to impossible to play with mouse and keyboard with it.
my DS4 is has recognized my ps4 controller and using a default profile, so I am using it as is and supposed to work from the faq but i could be wrong.
btw i have no idea how you can develop a VR game with no VR hardware to test....it's quite amazing actually since it's looks right for the most part. But also explain why there is a lack of reset position button/reset forward direction button that is usually there, and the intro movie is playing below ground level.
sorry i mistook you for deleting my post and left a negative review, deleted that now.
Hey i buy the game back because the controller just work in other game so I kinda want to see why myself.
turns out my controller is fine, but the game option "use touchpad to move crossair" is enabled. Which automatically disabled the right stick and only can use touchpad to turn, which i bet 0% of people will play with that.
I suggest you simply disable that touchpad function, or add a warning of such. It's not very obvious that enabling touch pad will disable right stick.
