Ship Cosmetics

I know that some upgrades/perks make cosmetic changes to the ships, but what about the color customization that was shown in one of the preview videos? Is this currently in the game and I just can't find it, or is it an upcoming feature?

Also, I feel like it would be nice to to have more cosmetic customization beyond what the perks/upgrades provide. It would be awesome to have some parts that we could swap out that wouldn't necessarily have any impact on the gameplay.

I actually can't remember which preview video it was part of, but if you go here https://everspace-game.com/game/ and scroll down to "Dying is Rewarding", there is a gif that shows swapping out ship parts and changing colours.

It's likely we'll add more customization options add a later stage, but it's currently not on the top of our list.

Sweet. You guys really nailed the aesthetic of the ships, so any customization on top of that makes it even better.

What about customizable colours specifically; is that a goal for launch?
