How to activate VR?

How do I activate vr mode? I have pressed the O key and nothing happens, what am I missing? When I launch the game steam vr turns on.

Not going to play this game as it turns on my Rift no matter what but it is not displaying to the Rift. If I turn off the Rift the game closes.

I turned off the computer and turned back on and now it is working but even with all the graphics on epic the game in vr is very low quality.

I was able to get it to go into VR mode by holding the O button for a couple seconds, the game became unplayable and I died, the vision was not lined up so I could not see anything in front of me. Could not switch it off either.

Never seems to come on Rift. It activates it, but doe's not appear to play.

Edit:: O.K. I got it press O when in game. At first my vision was out side the ship !
lol, but i hit the O again to reset it.

I have the gog version, I'm trying to use it with my vive, steamvr is running and sees the headset, other games work etc. Pressing O in this game does nothing, pressed it a bunch, held it for a few seconds... it does nothing. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, hopefully I don't have to have the steam version to use it with my vive.

doesn't work for me either - steam vrs and vive. VR kicked in, if I turn it off - the game stops = ( STEAM does NOT SHOW THE VR ICON - so I suspect it's NOT supported YET. I bought it without VR support - so to get it later is awesome.

Edit; O.K. Sorry It works, I dont know about the Vive, but for the Rift you must first start on the monitor and actually start flying. Then use O to toggle 3rd person and 1st person view, only appears on Rift in 1st person view. If you die you cant Esc from the splash page though.

No Hud yet, cant tell where im going. lol
