It is a scam they raised so much money and still asking for more and like u say they already selling the game in parts. Big investors have pulled out that happens for a reason ships that u can buy for like 200 euro + so atleast the first half year if not longer is already pay to win but thats my thoughts on it u dont have to agree or disagree its just how i see it. Yes, the game currently is Pay 2 Win. That is a fact that will remain as long as you can buy ships/weapons with real money.
Everyone hopes that it will eventually become mainly pay 2 play, where skill matters more. But that is a very optimistic balancing issue. As well as they would have to remove the options to purchase ships and weapons with real cash.

Actually you can rent ships with REC points, you can earn enough REC in a few hour's to rent the best fighter in the game for 7 periods of 24 hours, and get weapons with REC.

Lol you did not grasp what Star Citizen is or did you? ITs A Game made for Players in a Game niche that got often stumped left out or just not got served with Good Quality Space Sims. Chris did see the need to make a crowdfund to undergo the problems that big companys with a moneyschedule have . and he succeeded very well . Starcitizen is a Game that got funded by players and we get exact what we want out of it . If i want to support a Title so i can influence its outcome its no big thing to put some money on the line as well . Its the same as if you buy a designer Suit or the like because you get what you want. there is no need to make big investments many players just tag along and have just the 30 bucks standard packet. all will be free to earn ingame later on with a awesome community awesome infrastructure the best controles for PC no port instead made for PC and you get workin servers . its a game for adult players and they usually have a little spare money if they want to spend it on there own big ship to support the game developement nothing is wrong with it because we all knew its not to buy the ship its to support the Ideal Game developement Only for the Player .

Well star citizen is givin each week info on what the Devs the programmers do there is no lie in the Air thats the difference and its many programmerteams workin internationally together on this Crowdfund, You cannot compare it to NMS in no way. its ok that your not caring but then dont throw stones at something your not understanding correctly it just blames you for how uninformed you are . Well Say you what you want. In the online game, where the player puts in $ 10,000 and then everything will be a contrast to the player puts $ 100 and not much about not much of anything extra. Maybe 42 squadron will be interesting.

The extras are the game in this magnitude Dummy ................. you should really go to chris page and have a look before you make a fool out of yourself Dude . you will be positively surprised .

when it comes out it will be 60 usd.... atm u can get 1 of em for 45 usd and "upgrade" to both for an extra 15 usd. but not after release.
