is it? Im kinda having a hard time learning the game
interesting
1) You progress through the game, gathering weapons, resources, and credits along the way, until you get destroyed.
2) Back in the hangar, you use the credits from the previous run to improve your ship and pilot abilties.
3) Launch another run, using your improved ship and the knowledge you picked up on previous runs to do better.
Rinse and repeat until you finish the game.
Everspace 2 added a bunch of stuff, so there's a lot more to learn.
Most rogue-like's lock upgrades behind progression. So you can only advance so far without progressing and unlocking upgrades that make the game fair. ES1 had upgrades locked behind progression.
It's... too grindy?
You just play the game.
You start a run, you complete each area, and then you get to the end of the run and then you are done.
The grind is "playing the game cause it is fun"
Which ones?
The loadouts?
The rouge-lite part of ES1 is easy mode.
Play hardcore. You don't get to keep any upgrades. The game is 100% beatable even then.
So no grind. Its all in your head.
Why are you using multiple accounts? Just curios. I still can not get into Everspace 1 unfortunately :(
