DRONE CARRIER SHIELD ARE IMMORTAL

No matter WHAT i do at EVERY occasion, the Drone Carrier shield NEVER CEASES, it's practically undefeatable, immortal, i can't kill it, even with cheats!

This is particularly strange...please let us know if this is still happening after the update today. If you can, a video recording of this issue would be ideal.

I can't say I've seen this happen, but I'll keep an eye out. (I'm a QA tester for the team btw.)

Hi, we have not once been able to reproduce the problem. If you have a save game where such an undestroyable drone carrier exists, please send the save game to support at rockfishgames . com. One user did send us a save game where he said he was unable to destroy the drone carrier, but we managed to destroy it 10x in a row without the problem ever occuring. A video recording of the problem would also be of help.

I just thought of something: The last player who reported the problem was using some Everspace Trainer, could it be that this cheat version is actually causing the problem? Could you tell us how you are cheating / which trainer you are using? And does the problem also exist for you if you are not using any cheats?

Sounds like an amazing anti-cheat system that was unintentionally developed.

I came across one a couple of runs ago, Okkar Corvette I think. It kept spawning unlimited shield boosting drones faster than I could frag them, all while turrets kept blasting away. I kept running out of energy. Unloaded every missile I had and barely got the shield down. I might have scratched the paint before blowing up.

Thanks, but this is totally different - Karl Frank is talking about the Drone Carrier, which has an impenetrable shield that is held up by link drones and will only drop when all link drones are destroyed - and he says taht the shield did never drop, even after having destroyed all drones.

I've had it happen before, but if you fly far enough away the shield should collapse and then you get a few shots in before it re-deploys the drones (and this time it should wrk normally)

Dude, the game is SINGLE player, if people chooses to use cheats for simply clearing the game then that is their given RIGHT upon paying for the game and none of your bizz!

Used mrantifun's trainers. But i've done the game several times now so it is of little concern to me. Please don't shut out trainers in the coming sequal though, i wanna clear that game too when it launches as i hate tedious efforts.

We helped each other out here as they asked the right question, if the issue was outside or within the use of a trainer.
