Why do you ship .pdb files
Is there a reason shipping .pdb files along with the release product? You could analyze crash dumps on a development machine containing debug databases with the need to distribute them. I ask this because all the pdb files take about a Gb on the hard drive and some people, like me, are starving free space on SSD.

Hi, these are used for our crash reporter, so when there is a crash the player will get a proper error message which allows us to quickly tell what the exact problem is. Without it there would just be a crash and we'd have no clue why and players would first need to look for crash log files and send them to us. So it helps us (and you) tremendously that we ship pdb files.

Having said that, the game will run without them, so if you need disk space you can simply delete them.
