Well, it should work out of the box with mouse / keyboard for Oculus Rift and Vive (not Index, which is not officially supported). Does it not work for you, how's your setup? Joysticks/Hotas will need to be configured manually, please take a look at this important thread with best practices regarding this. The 2 most important points I guess are to set the controls up in non-vr and to disable input smoothing in the options menu when using a joystick: https://steamcommunity.com/app/396750/discussions/0/1620600279679223631/

Ok I figured out the problem, I think there is no localization for french keyboard(azerty), so I had to map the control in non-vr so it match my keyboard.
So keyboard and mouse now seems to work (I don't own Hotas, but soon I guess), I played the tutorial aside form the fact i did not know how to recalibrate my cockpit on the moment so it was weird but it work fine now.
Thanks for the REAL response :) .

So, is the VR only keyboard and mouse with headset only? I was hoping to use full VR when I got the game. This is quite disappointing...

Hi, you can also use a controller in VR or a joystick/HOTAS. Vive controllers are not supported, were you referring to these, or what do you mean with "Full VR"?

Yeah, these are not supported. A little hint regarding this: Every VR game has a box on the store page titled "VR support". Normally the supported input devices are listed there. We only list controller and mouse/keyboard and there also is a hint saying "The VR mode for this game requires the use of a gamepad or a keyboard and mouse." (which is automatically added by steam). If it's important to you that your VR games have oculus controllers support, you should check if "Tracked motion controllers" are listed as input device. You can also use this as a search filter when browsing the shop.
