1) My specific HOTAS doesn't work
2) Game is too difficult
3) I don't like rogue-likes, but bought one anyway
The replayability really depends on just how much you enjoy the combat. All of the randomized elements and super smooth gameplay has kept me interested for just shy of 200 hours now, and I'm still looking to put more playtime into it between all of the recent Christmas purchases.
Worst-case scenario would be that you buy it, try it out, and refund it before you hit 2 hours if it's not to your liking. I absolutely love the game, so I'd be hard-pressed not to recommend it.
While the base game has plenty on offer, the DLC does add a fair amount of extra content. I feel it is quite worth it.
(SOOO many people rated No Mans Sky positively when the price dropped and a new batch of players came in, but the ratings dropped like a rock about a week later when everyone realised just how poop that game really is).
Anyway, mouse-keyboard is great. VR mode is great. And like any decent Rogue-like, if you know what you are doing, you can overcome the RNG and pretty much clear each and every run despite the loadout and starting conditions (I finally hit about 75% success rate)
200hrs in, this is my most played game on Steam!
