Lightning gun
Quick questin:, does anyone know if the arc range of the beam to a secondary target is dependend on the total range of the gun? (cause it definatly feels like it)

Yes, it's 30% of the range

Not to open another discussion about the lightning gun I will ask more questions here:
- I saw a list of weapons and some MK3 version? does the lightning gun also has an enhanced version?
- There is a 4th mod you can add to it, how does it work? is just like (++++) and that's it? or is it a special kind of mod?

I haven't found any link with such information, well, I'd like to get more information on the new Sentinel TBH, any link will be appreciated.

1. There is only one version of the Lightning Gun.

2. The fourth mod slot for ANY weapon/device on the Sentinel (provided you purchase the respective Perk), which allows for one extra mod of your choosing to be applied via crafting.

I hear people saying lightning gun is under powered, WDYT about that?
But it's "AoE" is great which is why I like it, so if 4 standard mods is all I get then I think I should put 2 on shield and 2 on range, I like your videos BTW.

First couple sectors, I certainly agree that it is kind of an expensive weapon since it is largely used against single-targets.

But as you progress and run into situations with multiple foes bunched up, the weapon becomes an absolute beast. Because of this, it is an optimal weapon to upgrade (via mods) over time to become a fairly powerful tool. ESPECIALLY when you pair it with the Sentinel's exclusive Devices for insane crowd control.

It's a different playstyle and not everyone will like it. But it is immensely satisfying if you can get the hang of it!

The EMP is great, the electroshock is also great, but because you don't DPS a single enemy fast, but using both electroshock and lightning gun you can decimate a group faster than doing 1 by 1.

Lightning gun + Static discharger melts anything that is in range (target the big targets with the lightning gun, the arc will hit anything near it). Last run i paired that with the 2 other dischargers and berserker, leech and daredevil. Jump in blast them to hell go to the next point. Very effective. Only weakspots are biggerships as corvettes and frigates, but that's what the secondarys are for. Btw. the decoy item is pretty strong aswell

To be fair tho, the lightning gun could use a tiny little more damage something like +10 dps for hull and shield or maybe a mechanic where continuesly hitting the same enemy adds a litte extra damage or the EMP effect or something
