Unreal Engine Bug with taskbar on top of the screen

Sadly, I encounter the problem that all buttons and menues are off focus because I have my taskbar on top of the screen. This seems to be a known bug with the UE version Everspace uses. Is there any change that this will be fixed?

We're hoping with every engine update that this will be fixed (it's known for more than a year) - I guess we'll inform Epic that this is still not fixed and that we've received quite a lot of reports regarding the problem.

This problem appears in fullscreen mode. Try fullscreen windowed, it works fine for me.

Is your task bar on the side?

If so move it to bottom to play, and if the issue happens. ALt tab, Right click the task bar > taskbar options > flip "automatically hide the task bar in desktop mode" to on, let it hide, flip it back off. This has helped me.
