Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

This is not a good movie
I saw it many years ago, and I watched it recently (for rather a lot less than Steam wish to charge). It is not a good film. The plot is very basic, the dialogue is juvenile, and the action is a good represenation of where 'suspension of disbelief' turned into 'suspension of reality and all understanding of physics' in movies.

Tina Turner cannot sing very well, but her jagged vocalisations are superb when compared to her acting ability. The plot holes concerning the domination of 'Master Blaster' over Bartertown, who is then dispatched of with a single crossbow bolt, makes even the insipid story lines of modern action movies appear complex and well conceived in comparison.

Unfortunately, I am absolutely confident that the new Mad Max film will prove to be far inferior even to this monstrosity. I won't find out until I can watch it for less than a dollar somewhere.

I do agree this is terrible, however, I thought the new one was great. It was like the end of 2 stretched over a whole movie

I think you may be too smart to enjoy regular movies. Either try drinking more alcohol or banging your head against the wall. I did both and now I can enjoy so much stuff.

It was ace in its time, and id still watch a repeat on tv of it today than some of the junk films spammed out nowadays.

WHAAAT?

Oh wow I liked this movie a lot. Had tons of fun with the pigs powering a city, the kids talking badly and pretending to tell the epic story behind a TV. I had a laugh the entire movie. The ammount of money production had compared with the previous two is obvious.

in my opinion i felt that this movie is underrated. sure they toned down the violence because they made the film PG-13, which i felt that was only a minor setback. but all i can say is i respect your opinion on mad max 3 beyond thunderdome. it may not be as good as the others, but it's an underrated classic
