i'm not sure i understand the mechanism of the little boats with left and right arrows on it. how to avoid deformation with them?

Sometimes if your sword gets stuck it can fly so far, it will leave the screen through the top

Feels like mouse gameplay here would be the best option, or is the game just too old to have it

I have the shutters down at almost all times, but the deformation is too quick anyway. Not sure what Im doing wrong. Basically cut -> shutter -> cut

during the level where you are instructed to avoid symbols and kill bugs with bug spray, i cannot see any symbols appearing on my screen (passed the level by pure luck lol).. but is this an issue or am i supposed to pass this level through trial and error?...
