Finished it back in 2016 along with "The Moon Sliver", "The Music Machine" and "Fingerbones". This was my first quadrilogy of art indie games by David Szymanski, relatively speaking.

This game is not what it seems at first. Visuals are a bit cheap, but narrative is great and makes your mind wonder.

It feels as though this game started life as a short story, only for it to be cut up, and its disparate pieces to be awkwardly pressed into an interactive medium against its own, squealing protests.

The majority of the story is told through text anyway, starting, and bookending the game in an awkward, stilted monologue that has the grammatical structure of a third grader writing their first story. I acknowledge this is a stylistic choice much akin to the latter half of "Heart Of Darkness" but this game simply doesn't have the build-up necessary to make it impactful, nor does it soften the fact that it looks like ♥♥♥♥. The graphics are also deeply unpleasant to look at. I don't mind that they are primitive, in fact, it's fitting as the visuals aren't really important to the story, but these justifications are simple lampshading, and do nothing to dismiss the simple fact that it looks awful.

Still, its interesting and does at least have something to say.
