Crazy cpu temperature

Running this game is doing crazy things to my cpu. It's going up to 92 degrees celcius in the first room of the tutorial and I can't figure out for the life of me why. Things like capping the fps which usually really helps with other games doesn't seem to do anything, and the game is simply unplayable this way. Does anyone have any idea what to do about this?

The game simply doesn't have a good optimitation, I played it with a 2070, and i had the same problems, and 30 fps in some levels

The game was also compiled in development mode which has a whole bunch of debug stuff which could decrease your fps
