But it's impossible to do it. The average player only gets about 550-570 skill points during the game. And 610 if you max it out.
Even if you want to increase only strength to 200 it would take 690 skill points regularly or 598 skill points if you skill to 29/59/89/119 and then skill 5 points at once.
The best way of using tablets/apples/dark mushrooms/prayers/permanent potions and other power ups is depending on what you are specializing in:
- save power ups for skills you specialize in until the 3rd of 4th chapter
- you can always use power ups for hit points immediately
- if you play a melee or ranged combat character you can always use mana power ups immediately
- power ups for skills you don't want to use can be used immediately
But if you want to maximize a certain skill I guess it's better to wait until you have 120.
Dex Power Ups:
+1 you get from Rengaru if you don't rat him out to the paladins
+15 from Embarla Firgasto potion
+24 from stone tablets
+10 from prayers
+15 from dex potions you can buy or find in the game world
+30 from belts/rings/amulets (only temporary for the time you wear the items)
= 95 dex power ups for a militia
+15 from second Embarla Firgasto potion you (you will only get this as a dragon hunter)
= 110 dex power ups for dragon hunters
+5 from Tears of Innos potion (you can only use it as a mage otherwise you will die)
= 100 dex power ups for mages
Oh, I get it. Well, I plan to join the Mercenaries and eventually the Dragon Hunters, so I guess that works out all right.
Edit: Not to mention there are probably artifacts and the like I can buy from merchants and equip to temporarily raise my dexterity.
+30 from belts/rings/amulets (only temporary for the time you wear the items)
category. That's the maximum amount of artifacts which gives you boni for dex.
And be aware it's rather hard to get/find all the power ups. Some of them you get really late.
e.g. +10 dex from prayers: dragon hunters get a max of +10 strength and +10 dex from prayers. Every time you pray and spend 100 gold you get either +1 strength or +1 dex. And you can only do it once a day. So you need 20 days for the prayers only and you need 2000 gold for it.
And finding all the dex potions is only easy if you know where to find them. But if you don't they some of them are easy to miss like the one you can find near the bandit camp in the woods.
Some of the stone tablets are easy to miss, too. Especially those which gives you strength or dex.
