not running on windows 10

worried i might be missing something easy like compatability but i cant find it in the steam preferences, just says," c: maximum texture size is lower than 32. possible reason: wrong gfx driver setup (install other driver) , bad os state (try to reboot), or insufficent gfx hardware (buy better gfx card!)

running a radeon 6850: more than powerful enough to run it as i have done when i had windows 7 on this pc.

To make G 1 + 2 fit for modern systems you have to install the systempack:

For better performance and looks you could install the DX 11 Renderer:

Gothic 1-3 run fine on my end using Win 10 x64.

I suggested buying the disk because you don't get the 'access violation' error.

You only get that with steam.

That may be because the steam version has a different patch installed. Easy to fix, since you can install the right patch or better, the systempack on top.

I did all that but i still have the same problem as the first game, except this time screen turns light blue and flickers and i can hear sound in both.
