screenshots with gamma and contrast down

Hello,
I noticed when I turn down gamma and contrast in the video settings, when I take screenshots with steamoverlay, it screenshots are taken with default settings instead...

do I have to use an external screenshot software to capture this?

update: I tried FastStone Capture, configured it as best as I could but I cannot use the hotkeys when I'm in game to control the FS Capture for whatever reason...they just won't work...I might search for an alternative

I give up, I managed to take screenshots with OBS, but the screenshots are still default gamma and brightness...even if I edit gamma and brightness values in gothic.ini ...the result is the same (as the ini file represents the configuration in game settings)

In the end i didn't figure it out.
