Help with the Instalation of the Dirty Swamp Mod.

Hey

I've just Re-Installed the Game and now I'm following the Guide here:

I go through Steps 1-4 and proceed with Step 8, then I go to Step 9 and then I go into the System Folder and add "run as administrator" to both the gothic2.exe and the starter.exe.
Now, when I try to get it to Start, the Starter opens and then the Logo for NotR shows up. Then it crashes.

Any Ideas?

No, it opens the Game... kinda... i get a very tiny window, which closes after a few seconds. back to the starter.

Now I tried again and get this.

1. Install Gothic 2 Gold Steam - no further Patches are required as it is already on the latest.
2. Install Union - Link: https://www.worldofgothic.de/dl/download_651.htm
3. Install D3D11 Renderer if you want - I use this one - https://www.worldofgothic.de/download_590.htm
4. Install the Dirty Swamp Files as mentioned on the WoG Page.
5. Now you should be able to normally start Gothic 2 from steam and get the Mod Launcher in which you should be able to choose the DirtySwamp Mod.

Well it could be the renderer. The clockwork edition - which is linked in the old mod installation description - is outdated and doesnt run on some modern machines at all.

It may be better to use Workshop. You will only need Union and the mod itself:

Enable Workshop beta in game's properties and subscribe.

That Worked, for now! I used the latest D3D11 tho :)
