Secondly, I suggest playing the game on windowed mode if all else fails. No need to lower the resolution but for some reason windowed mode gives you slight more FPS overall.
I wouldn't recommend playing Gothic II with object and viewing range above 120-150%. In this case my PC can handle it but I wouldn't suggest it with your specs. Besides 300% range was way ahead of its time back then and most people just played on 100% !
I hope this helps you out!
Add me should you wish to need any personal help. Good luck, it's a great game :)
For Innos!
I already got used to little stuttering in Khorinis, it's mostly just there so i don't mind. No problem with Onar farm and i won't probably have either problems in Valley of Mines ( Old camp ).
I'm playing currently with 240% view range and 200% for objects/npcs and i don't mind.
I tryed those Direct D3D for Gothic II and it's really nice and helps with FPS, removes stuttering without doubt, but with some high-spec PC, not with my. So, i'm just gonna stay with classic look and keep enjoying this masterpiece i have never played ( NoTR i mean ).
In any case, thank you very much for your answer!
