Gothic II: Gold Classic

Intel HD instead of Nvidia GPU
My laptop is not that great, it's a laptop i use for multemidia not for gaming, but I wanted to try Gothic 2 on it because its an old game and wanted to play it here, but it runs on very low fps. I checked video settings and it looks like the game detected intel hd and not the nvidia gpu which is 950m. I installed D3d11 rendere to see if that will fix the problem and it did but the laptop is not that great to run game in d3d11 and I would rather have vanilla graphics. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Have the exact same problem with my laptop, unfortunately the only way to use the graph card is to apply the d3d11 mod.

Yeah, this unfortunate. Not only because my laptop cant handle D3d11 very well, but also because I would perfer vanilla graphics.

Delete all files from the mod.

I am gonna try that, thx. I mean, it's weird that even if the game does run on intel hd it should run properly, considering the game's age. I never heard about a fix like this from anyone tho. Everyone always recoomends just installing the gothic 2 fix, system pack and playerkit. I thought thats all i need because on my pc the game runs at 60fps with only those 3 patches.
