Stolen assets from comepletely unrelated games and mods, thrown together looks like crap.
Exceptionally bad level of fanfiction writing. Horrible quest design, you basically can't beat the mod without holding a phone with a guide in your hand. Everything is put together with (not)sticky tape, so much so the devs have to disable marvin mode to prevent it from crashing even more.

Everything masked with a good graphic mods to mask its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥(good graphics is quite subjective, khorinis looks like a damn chernobyl with all these plants). It's like puting a make up on a dead corpse.

You can play the game with DX11 or Lhiver itself, or install some other mod and play it with DX11.

My main grip with the mod is the difficulty settings. I have never seen someone play this without cheating and cheesing.

So why make a mod nobody can play through normally.

There are good things about the mod but they are mostly in world design. I really like what they did with the valley of mines.

But then you have to suffer through all that horrible dialogue to get there. And most of the dialog is just useless ♥♥♥♥ I'm not interested in. It doesnt even tell good stories through that dialog.

At first I thought its just a few characters but everyone will chew your ear off and tell you completely generic boring ♥♥♥♥ and it goes on and on and on.

I cant really recommend that mod.

Do u guys think Lhiver will be good to play from the start? To experience something new in gothic.

varus biker mod was fun, it adds new things like caves dungeons and stuff - similar to lhiver.

If you just wanna play Gothic 2 in a new way you can try out Atarier Edition mod or Nostagie mod. H'Liver has 2 diff versions. A basic and a full one. Just read on it. Both are worth a try.

Because what you may consider good, might not even come from returning itself, but from other mod(L'Hiver I guess?) returning just stole and reimplemented, so I wouldn't give them any credit for it.

The whole reconstruction of the area which in vanilla behind the orc wall is just really great. Afaik they didnt steal that but made it themselves.
