Can't get the key from Orlan.

So, I'm in chapter three right now and I want to comlete the quest about teleports which I've recieved from one of the mages in that weird temple, Merdarion. The problem is that I can't get access to the cave where one of the teleports is located. I know that Orlan has the key from the cave, and I have a note in my journal about it, but there is no diologue option when I try to speak whith him. I thought that I can provoke him and defeat in combat, obtaining that key in an old-fashion way, but this NPC is immortal... I was thinking about upgrading character's agility and purchasing pickpocket skill, but I'm playing as a mage and I don't whant to waste skill points. So, is this bug fixable or is there another way to get access to the cave?

I'm surprised that you still haven't completed the quest. Most people get this quest done during the first chapter.

Maybe it's because you're asking for this during the third chapter. I've never had an issue with this before. I think that you can ask him the moment you use one of the three teleporters. Try using one and then talking to him, if you haven't already. If it doesn't work you'll have only lost 300 XP and a stone tablet for health, nothing too serious, so just continue with your game.

Thanx for advice, but that didn't work. Seems like this quest will be in journal till the end of the game...

Found out the reason of the problem. I didn't walk through the portal in the temple, idk how but I managed skip it). So, I returned to the temple, walked through the portal, appeared in the orc's cave, walked through the portal again and got the key from Orlan! The sequence of the passage turned up to be important.

Odd that you've waited with it for so long as a magician. Orlan is a member of the Ring of Water. As a magician, haven't you joined them?

By the way, if you wear the ring wich helps the members of the Ring of Water recognize each other, the diфlogue option will appear. I suppose that was the case)))))

When you're given that ring, you're also given the hint that wearing the ring may be helpful eventually.

Didn't expect that ring to be more helpful than the ring that increase mana)
