It's been a while but I believe you can buy a few scrolls from the mage at the brewery room at the monastery, first door on your right.
I have a couple of questions,though:
1)Which weapon are you using?
2)What is your skill with the type of said weapon?
If you aren't using the Sword of the Order or something equally good, you won't have a good time.I remember that Beliars claw is pretty imba, but I always give it to the WM because I don't like it.
As a mage the only way to actually kill the dragons is with summons or high damage level spells like fire rain, because the 4th Circle spells are pretty bad. Also maybe there is a mod which will make the dragons not regen their health, but that would make the fights pretty bad.If you are using a strong weapon it would mean that they would die from 10 crits or something.
They are still too easy, though. A fight against a dragon should put you on edge and take everything from you. But instead you just summon a demon or golem and the fight is over a few seconds after it has started.
If you can't fight the swamp dragon which is the easiest of all the dragons then you will have no fun against all the other dragons.
Edit:Or Ice wave. That freezes the dragon in one spot and makes the fight pretty quick.
110 damage is not so much for the hardest opponents if you know there are many better swords in the game. May I ask why you don't use Claw of Beliar which does magical extra damage every now and then? You have to pray on a shrine of Beliar and improve the weapon, though.
As Paladin you learn your spells from Albrecht in Khorinis.
Besides that you can always use scrolls.
Of course you could switch to two-handers.The two-handed ore sword from Bennet requires 120 strength to use.Damage is the same as the one handed +20.You can consecrate it as well.
First consecration costs 5000 gold, though so make sure you're not strapped of cash. You will get something later on in the game to consecrate it a second time.
In comparisson the two-hander isn't the best even after consecrating it twice. It's still good, but if you can get 160+ strength might as well use the Dragon Slicer for more efficiency.
If you're at 110 strength and have already used all consumables(stone tablets, strength potions, apples, stews)to increase your strength I'd say go for the one-handed sword which Harad can sell you and use that, increase your one-handed weapon skill to 80-90% so that pretty much every hit is a crit and whatever you have left put in strength(and get the healing runes from Albrecht).
Edit:Harad can sell you ONLY 1 sword(either the one hander or the two hander) so be certain when you chose which one to get.
