How to stop Steam from updating Gothic 3?

I've installed Gothic 3 from Steam stable branch. Manually updated it to patch 1.75.14 and installed QP4 U2 and CM 2.6.3 also I edited ge3.ini, but every now and then Steam decides to update the game and all my modifications are in wain. Is there a way to keep Steam from messing with my game?

In right click -> Properties -> Updates
You can keep Steam from updating the game.

In right click -> Properties -> Updates
You can keep Steam from updating the game.

Bet the only awailable options there are:
- Always keep this game up to date
- Only update this game when I lounch it
- High Priority - Always auto-update this game before others

Thanks, I set download schedule from 7:00 to 8:00, lets see if it works. Also I set Gothic 3 properties to update the game only when lounched. Lets hope for the best.
