Now to the next problem, rightclicking the .exe and chhosing card SHOULD work but for you it does not wich leads me to my next point.
Windows 10 is at the moment known for being very finnicky with laptops that has integrated gpu's.
It simply does not allways work the way it should because Microsoft effed up some stuff in windows 10 concerning laptop gpu's.
Does it let you choose card for your other games correctly?
When I go into the Nvidia control panel I can't even find the game and have to "add" it. When I add the .exe (there seems to be two btw, can't figure out which one to use), I then choose high performance NVIDIA and it seems to "forget" that i saved this setting when I then try to load the game. Even when I do it as a general setting instead of game specific it will STILL try and load it on my native card.... I'm using windows 7 btw.
Really frustrated here.
still shows up as intel 4000 instead of nvidia
Chances are it was likely a bug in one of the in game graphics settings that was preventing me from selecting my nvidia card. I'm not sure which one though. Having got it working I don't want to mess around with it anymore but I suppose if you wanted you could turn your graphics settings back up to full/on one at a time and see if one of them makes the game swap back to the native Intel card.
I haven't tried Helldivers in my laptop yet. Hopefully it will be running fine after reading your fixing! :D
It still says intel 4000
I already tried that :(
