Keep forgetting that info. I have it.
and dont forget to revive your teammate asap. also make sure to upgrade your revive ability to the fullest, then bring strategem priority. that way you can revive your teammate every 15 seconds.
try to develop muscle memory for the revive code.
and most important: you can use strategem while youre down. so you dont need to get up to revive your teammates.
and another pro tip: you can use strategem while inside a mech exo suit. but not while inside apc, hav, tank. seen too many noobs get out of a mech just to use strategem.. dont be like those noobs.
- Resupply activation time 5sec
less time to wait for ammo supply
- Reinforce 20sec cooldown time.
low cooldown time
- NUX-223 Hellbomb activation time 15sec
don't wait to long
Heavy Weapon for TANK type enemy
- 2 x RL-112 Recoilless Rifle in Team and assist reload.
or 1 player carry RL-112 and 1 player carry ammo backpack help to assist reload.
better 1 player reload (about 4-5sec) if assist reload it instant reload.
player who have ammo backpack walk to player who using RL-112 and press E(keyboard control)
- in full upgrade RL-112 can shoot tank in any angle with full damage
- mission object is importan don't fight to much.
- enemy slow than player when player run, run to safe place to call reinforcement or resupply.
The other biggest mistake is to instantly revive someone when they die. This prevents the rest of the team from escaping, forcing all of you to fight ever increasingly spawning waves, while usually results in other teammates dying, while more and more wave spawn, etc. What you should do is run, get to safety (perferably the next objective), and THEN spawn the others.
i agree. most noobs make the mistake of staying in a single spot too long. noobs try to kill everything while pros just kill enough to make way for their next objective.
breaker(u get this early)
justice(best weapon ingame but unlocks at 18)
that doesn't mean other weapons are underpowered so try em all out and see what you enjoy since they all have their purpose and are good against one race or the other! though i reccomand starting with breaker until u learn the basics!
in hard missions u'll met big armored units so u'll need some kinda anti armor that works well with your setup!
Stay with your team! You all share the same screen so try not to put them, or yourself, in a position that results in someone dying, or a failed objective.
Consider your loadout. Compare it against your fellow Helldivers, against the enemy you will be facing, and what kind of objectives you will be dealing with.
Stay cool. When the lead starts flying, it's easy to lose track of exactly where your team mates are, or whether you're standing on top of a beacon, or where you're throwing a beacon. That's when "accidental" deaths occur. Don't be that guy.
Laugh it off. If someone accidentally kills you, don't get angry. It's going to happen. It probably wasn't on purpose. But ranting about it is only going to ruin the game for everyone. Don't be that guy either.
The mission is everything. It's better to die a million times, but complete all objectives, rather than fail all but one objective and never die. As long as one person gets on the evac shuttle, the mission will be considered a success.
- don't be that guy who constantly gets squashed by drop pods. Sure it's going to happen a lot but consciously try to have some awareness of your character and not just what you're aiming at.
- for almost any weapon/strategem you have to upgrade it all the way to really decide if you like it. Don't base your opinion on the un-upgraded version.
Ideally there are 2 main loudouts - if you are going to play single player or if your going to play multiplayer.
If you are going single player - it is best to use energy weapons. That saves you from having to take the Ammo drop Strategm. Also taking the UAV ( level 3) is ideal. This will allow you to see all samples on the map as well as reveal hidden objectives. Now based on the difficulty the other 2 strategms are essentially free slots. If you are doing deifficulty 6+ always take 1 Anti Armor strategm. Since its single player its best to use EAT over recoiless rifle. Simply because of the massive reload time recoiless has. You could also go with an Anti-Armor style mech but chances are you will run out of ammo or get it destroyed since you cannot use angel or rep 80 from inside the mec.
So its better to go with another artillery style stategm of your choice.
When doing Multiplyer - you should try to complement other peoples choices.
The entire team does not need more then 1 UAV. Also if most people are doing balistic style weapons its ideal to have 1 ammo supply per team per 2 people using balistic weapons.
When dealing with turrets try and keep a solid objective between you and the turret. Which will prevent the turret from shooting you and your team. If no such object exists - keep the turret far enough away that you can barely see it - but it still is near an area where enemies come from.
Enemies spawn at a radius 50% past the visual viewing area.
When it comes to Vehicles - avoid vehicles vrs the Illuminati. They can one shot all vehicles using their wall.
The Recoilless Rifle is a must have if you like playing as a team and have a loader to ensure a good rate of fire. If you prefer going solo, the EAT-I7 is your main staple for taking out tanks.
Upgrade the Hellbomb to max early. The extra 5 seconds in deployment speed can make a real difference at higher difficulties.
The MG 95 Stratagem is excellent for mowing down large groups of enemies. In missions where you have to kill a certain amount of enemies you will learn to love it
Turrets are great against Bugs and Cyborgs, but practically useless against the Illuminates.
Place one behind barbed wire, and you have created a virtual death zone. But be careful! This game has friendly fire and your own turrets can shoot you down, so place them with care.
A fully upgraded, well placed mine field can kill absolutely anything.
2. You can call stratagems while in downed state. Call Reinforce if you're the last man alive and in downed state, so if you die, the strat beacon drops, everyone revives. Win-win.
3. Careful with Tesla tower.
Question for the group: Mic versus no mic? I have one, I just hate using it. This has likely been discussed in other threads, but i'd appreciate a recap all the same.
You don't really need Hellbombs upgrade, as some have said, you can use other stratagems or destructive weapons to blow up objectives too. I'd take the C4 any day compared to Hellbomb which can be broken. You can also take the Shredder nuke, a faster version of the Hellbomb and instant boom. Just make sure to run once you throw it.
Though the upgrade is still nice, just not in the top priority.
The better option would be the Resupply strat, since most weapons and some strat packs can be replenished. Win-win for the team. But whatever floats your boat.
I'd personally go for mic, in a chaotic Helldive run, having mic saves a lot of time to tell the team on where to go and planning. If you don't like to talk all the time, you can just use push to talk only when necessary.
