Cant hear other players.

Other players type to me that they hear me fine, but for some reason i can't hear them. The voice comm is set to yes so I'm not sure. Any advice?

I've had a couple of games where it seems like the VOIP channels bugged out. People can talk to each other but they can't hear me and I can't hear them, etc etc. it seems like it happens when you enter a mission and when you're not on the ship platform too

I guess if that's the case your best bet is to just go back to the platform and then rejoin

It's a serious bug with the game itself, play enough matches with people using mics and everyone will encounter it eventually. (It's actually somewhat common, someone on the team gets it at least once every 6 battles or so.)

Someone had this the other day too.
Probably something you cant fix while in game, but I would suggest turning the setting to Off in game. Close the game. Open it. Change it back to yes. Close game. Open it again.
If not again, fresh install. Its not very big, cough.

To be clear I've never heard another player ever. It is a constant bug for me that I receive no player audio.

Still no good. Did reinstall, did login disable / login re-enable, checked all windows audio levels.

To reiderate my problem:

Other players can hear me but I cannot hear other players. Voice comm is enabled and volume is maxed for each individual player from the menu and still nothing. All other game audio works fine.

Happens. You have to leave the session and rejoin most of the time, sometimes you actually have to restart the game.

Nah I'm telling you man I've literally never heard another player at all. I've got 15 hours, by now if the bug was sporatic for me I would have atleast heard someone.

by default the game is set to "push to talk" did you set a key for that or turn it off if you don't plan to use that mode?

Turned out I had something set to the wrong bind or something to that effect, basically if I had just carefully looked at the settings instead of sounding off for help I would have seen it.

elaborate? ive been having the same issue, whenever i look through the settings, i cant seem to find anything that would be causing an issue

I still get the same issue. Everyone can hear me but i cant hear anyone else. Worked before but not now, have played another 100h since thin with no voice chat. I dont see anyone's mic icons either, doesnt say muted just doesnt show up.
I have checked my settings a million times and reinstalled the game.
only possibility i see is if its some sort of firewall or network gateway problem RIP
