BaseGame vs Deluxe Edition
Is the Digital Deluxe Edition really necessary or are you lacking lots of content if you dont get the Deluxe version?

Cant really decide if I pick this Game up or Hurtworld so before I make my choice I wanted to make sure that the 20€ is worth enough.

No, not really necessary, except for maybe UAV and all-terrain boots DLC which I would say really useful, but not under the 100% "must use" category. Other than that, the rest are all sidegrades and for the cool factor.

Is there enough content with just the normal version?

Yes, the expansions are all in the base game. DLCs just give you cosmetics, weapons, perks and stratagems in it. Nothing to do with game access.

For the most part, yes. The DLCs just add different kit for you to wear, guns to use, and some different perks. The game is completely playable with just the base game. The DLC does add some nice things, as mentioned above, but a lot of the weapons are mostly style. It's not pay to win, but there will be some DLC you'll covet after you see it on the battlefield. This coming from a guy that bought the base game and has yet to buy any DLC.

Base game content addons are all free and included in the base game.
The DLC simply add new weapons to your arsenal and skins.

Some of the DLC equipment does provide useful features - for example the ranger dlc provides a UAV. Once upgraded to level 3 - you can see research samples.

The downside being you need to use up 1 strategm slot to equip it.

Long story short - base game includes everything you need.
Personally even though I own the deluxe - 95% of the time I only use vanillia equipment.

Ah alright, makes the choice even harder to pick. Thanks

I'd say Deluxe is really worth it so many DLCs for 10 euros and a lot of cool stuff to play with, but both the vanilla game and DLCs have meta strategems and weapons so it's not like you can't win helldive without DLCs. I'd say buy it but not now - later: Deluxe Edition whenever you got spare 30 euro, because it's really worth it. And get some friends to buy Deluxe as well because then it's extra spicy extra fun. It's a really solid game.

As for UAV if you got for standard edition then you just gotta find a lobby where someone has it maxed out and you can easily find all samples in the mission but DLC add tons of fun stuff like new mechs, tank, motorcycle, new capes 'n sh*t, guns, guns, guns, very varied guns, C4 strategem (my personal favorite), new air strikes, some pet drones (and you get none in vanilla as far as I'm concerned) and other stuff. If you'll like the game then you might regret not buying Deluxe Edition as there's no upgrade and there might be one or not and you'd have to spend +10 extra euro (20 instead of 10 with Deluxe) to get other DLCs bundled in non Deluxe package.

ALTOUGH! If your currency is dollar then I can't speak for you because I don't know the prices, I think it would be ok to skip Deluxe then. 10 euro is 11 USD as far as I'm concerned so 20 dollars is kinda overpay lol I don't know how they did the pricing and why it's like this but ok. I don't know how much the all DLC bundle is in $. If your currency is euro then I recommend buying the other game and buying this in Deluxe later on and if your currency is $ then you can skip the Deluxe and you won't have to cry. If your currency is not neither of those then I don't know the pricing.

they aren't selling "overpowerness" in dlcs but theres some nice weapons of different category like machine guns and snipers. i bought the ranger dlc for the camper sniper rifle but base game has one too called railgun...one isn't better than other but they each are played a bit differently!

Hurtworld vs this game ? Both a different games but Hurtworld is pre alpha , personally I would pay for a finishd product due to being burned alot for those pre alphas that never get finished

The thing is already tested out Hurtworld on my friends Account and its pretty neat, on the other hand I reallly REALLY love Top-down Shooters, specially if they have more depth in them instead of just spraying against a mass of zombies.

And yeah, Deluxe Edition costs for me 29,99€, while Base Game costs 20€
