Colours!

In summary: I like yellow, but i wanna to change colour of my character

In the video of Helldivers, it seems there is red, white and blue character

but is it the suit that colour comes from or can we customize it? *if we can how do I do that

you cant.. the developers in this game are retarded when it comes to colours. everything is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ yellow. laser weapon yellow, all armors contain yellow. all capes except 1 "that ive found" contains yellow. its realy drawing me from the game, cause i dont like yellow and everything is freakin yellow.

I know right, at least, when it comes like Tundra suit, it should be white, and the forest one green not YELLOW, Pls Military disguises don't work like that

what would b e awsome is if they drop a patch with a colour slider. so you can colour your armor how ever you want.. what i would love is for some of the laser weapons to be blue.. or red. at least one of them.. but all lasers in this game is yellow.. add that to the armor and its gets tidious and boring for the eyes.. i rather play a black n white game, then one that is just one colour like this one.

Colours would also help with finding your character again when you had been looking at a different part of the screen (eg. the weapons info box).

This suggestion has come up so many times for the Playstation version also. Maybe we can hope for it more now since they have the PC sales funds now.

Much like the crappy camera I think everyone is supposed to have yellow as their main color by design from the devs so it is that much harder to distinguish yourself from the rest, and the devs hope all of this causes more accidental deaths. It did to me a few times, look at one guy dressed similar to mine and bam I shoot someone else from other side of screen because I looked at wrong guy. You get used to it though. Some DLC armor lets you make yourself easy to distinguish, easiest thing to do while on a ship is get a bright helmet different from what others are wearing.

Honestly I think in this case it's less gameplay and more theme.

You're 'elite' troops for a less than okay military regime. You don't get to customise your armour colour because you're supposed to be part of the same unit. Honestly I really like the cohesion it gives the squad.

Well, they are uniforms, and uniforms should be uniform. Atleast you do get to customize it enough to look unique in a 4-player session. But having 4 clowns running about in different colors would take me out of the context :P
