Is TK/griefing an issue
in coop matches with Hell Diver's friendly fire? Or what are your guys opinion?

griefing isn't really an issue, you're more likely to kill yourself than anyone doing it for you.

There's also a "standing" mechanic where people can report or commend you, if you have bad standing you'll only be able to play with other people with band standing.

In eight hours, I've maybe been griefed once. They have a commend/report system in place too.

How do you actually use this system?
Carnatux Dec 7, 2015 @ 4:03pm
I killed a teammate that was refusing to move and was just shooting at the endlessly spawning enemies and the other 3 of us were trying to get him to move to the next objective. After telling him we need to get to the objective he said well "i just want to kill stuff." So I shot him.......Tthe rest of us carried on our mission and then when it ended I came out of that matchup with 2 commends lol. So moral of story killing your team isnt allways the worst idea.

Open the menu during a game session and select other players names to commend or report them. Right click their names with the mouse, not sure with controller.

controller is hit start select name hit a for commend y or x for report IIRC

press escape, right click on name, then there you'll see a commend/report button. you can't commend/report steam buddies though.

@OP too early to tell.. the game's 4-day old if you include the pre-release access. but so far so good everything's 'accidental' which is part of the game. i for one have 25 accidentals on my record lol :D

go to weaponry and on the right side you can see your personal stats (kills/accuracy/clear rate/commendations/reported).

yeah a bummer i want to commend mine as well but if you have the guy a buddy on steam then it's understood you commend him :)

Knock on wood, so far I haven't run into a soul who seemed to intentionally nail me and teammates. Yes, clumsy, we all are at some point. I won't persecute any fellow Helldiver for that as long as they're good about reinforcing. I encourage everyone who enjoys MP to fully upgrade Reinforce so it has the shortest cooldown. :steamhappy:

Now I did back in summer run into more than one player on PSN gunning down fellow players, not reinforcing and not saying a word. Pretty dang creepy if you ask me. :steamfacepalm: I hope I don't run into folks like that but I would say it's extremely rare atm. Feel like the co-op mechanics simply encourage everybody to work together and most of the time, that's what happens rather than purposeful griefing.

The only time I've ever done anything close to griefing is punching someone that was getting in my way while looking for munitions to deactivate. Outside of that, I haven't seen anyone grief intentionally.

EDIT: If you always play as host, you can kick whoever you want, whenever you want. So even if there were tons of assclowns, you'd still be fine because of game systems.
