Some thoughts about the cyborg helldive and the cape you get as a reward.

So i finished my first helldive yesterday for the cyborgs and got my helldive cape, which looks badass, but ive been thinking about the cape design and to me it just dosnt make much sense and i'll tell you why. The biggest reason is it has the cyborg symbol on it.... why? why would a helldiver wear a cape emboldened with the symbol of one of super earths sworn enemies? I mean the cape has bullet holes in it and is scorched so you could say that its a trophy off of some dead cyborg, except no cyborg enemies wear capes. This got me thinking about a possible way to make the design make sense in a badass way. What if, on the last mission of the helldive, you through in an assassinate mission, and when you got the target, there were cyborg helldivers. It would make sense right? The cyborgs have been watching super earth and their tactics and realize that helldivers are super earths greatest weapon, so they try and copy the helldiver program and make their own helldiver soldiers. Then once you defeat your cyborg helldiver dopplegangers, you could say that after the battle you took their capes off their corpses in bloody triumph over the enemy. Anyway, thats just a thought. Devs, tell me if you like the idea or maybe tell me to go ♥♥♥♥ myself, idk, up to you. Cheers!

For the Cyborgs - it is that faction's flag torn down, then de-faced by having a Helldiver symbol super imposed ontop of it. notice, the 'star' is upside down (symbolic of a defeated faction) and the helldiver skull is front and center having promeince over the faction's symbol.

And that's how i basically look at it... it is some flag or symbol (think territory marker for bugs) that was torn down, then defaced and worn like a cape to denote they where conqured.

I guess that makes sense. But my suggestion sounds more badass ;3

i think that's their flag or something.which means u have defeated a large cybrog battle group and useing their flag as your cape.
that might make u feel this design reasonable

Imagine seeing a cut scene of your Helldiver fighting and beating the Cyborgs and then receiving that cape from the Admiral on your ship. That would be nice I think
