share your loadout tips vs bugs on hard!
like title says!(remember hard mission 9-12)

weapons:
-weapons with unstoppable/armor piercing like justice and railgun(railgun can also stun bosses but only bring 1 per team, otherwise teamkilling becomes a problem)

perks:
-i find displacement field (paired with jump boots) great survival vs all races!(also will make getting that last star for acheiving less than 11(7?) team deaths which means more event points)

stratagems:
-anti armor stratagems are key vs bug bosses(ieats, railgun strikes, recoiless rifle)

Weapons:
-sickle works perfectly well against bugs as long as you have a clue how to aim, overall best weapon.

Perks:
-Depends if I'm soloing helldives or doing them with a team, if solo I use cardio, if with a team I use displacement as well. Jumppacks work fine against bugs and illuminate, but are crap against cyborgs due to the homing missile dogs. (Shields infinitely better vs cyborgs)

Strats:
-Anti-armor is unnceccesary in most cases, your supposed to keep your ass moving at all times, if your doing a def objective on helldive difficulty and a behemoth spawns on the objective there is a 90% failrate regardless of your strats. If he spawns further away then a EAT-I7 to the face works fine, so does a lumberer mech. (I spawn the lumberer for geological surveys when playing with a group. Damn those objectives straight to hell. :P) Generally I prefer slowfields for bugs when using a shield, or napalm strikes when not using a shield.

Weapon
- AR-20L Justice. AP ammo and Unstopable. beware shooting line it can kill teammate
- if in team have good long range player i use LAS-12 Tanto for close range.
Perk
- Stratagem Priority reduce cooldown time 40% (for C4)
Stratagems
- Resupply
- SH-20 Shield Generator
- REC-6 'Demolisher' (C4 for tank type bug)
- EXO-51 'Lumberer' (when need to fight many tank type)

last time i try TOX-13 'Avenger'
it good
- slow enemy movement
- can kill tank type but take time until it die

My new favorite strategy:

1 person on team has rail gun (fully upgraded). Someone else brings the "Airstrike" stratagem (also fully upgraded). Rail gun stuns big bugs, stops them in their tracks for a few seconds (and repeat). Keeps the bug still long enough for airstrike to hit every time. (Airstrike strat kills them in 1 hit, btw. No messing around with reloads / EATs drops etc.)

Aside from that, I always use cardio, justice, hellfire for defense and shredder missiles for nests on bug maps. GL HF!

weapon:
-LAS-16-Sickle: Never needs reloads, easily takes out waves of bug scouts. Does not need Resuply Stratagems. Very nice damage.

Perks:
-Cardio Accelerator: Keep running gets you out of trouble. unless there is snow, use "All terrain boots", but in most case, no snow in bug's planet :D

Stratagems:
-AD334 Guard Dog: IN Lv.12 bug scouts jump toward you, "Guard Dog" helps to kill those left over bug scouts that you might accidently miss.
-Take 2 "A/MGII Minigun Turret": Mini gun turret is the best against bugs. easily kills bug scouts. Once bug scouts are dead, no more further problems :D
-Humblebee UAV drone(essential): farming sample, finding hiden subject. There are 18-22 samples in lv.12 missions. If its bug mother planet, or city defenses mission. There will always be 22 samples. If you do not need samples, take whatever stratagems you want, just for fun :D

Wait!!! No anti-tank weapons or strategems? Yep, thats right!!! You do not need it at all. Kill scouts first, than you will never face a tank units. If a scout sounds alarm, run!!! till the music turns back to normal.

How to use Minigun most effetionally:
-Do not start Missile luncher, survey drills or anything you wanted to protect unless your minigun was droped and in place.
-If it was a missile lunchpad you were protecting, drop the minigun on the missile side, few steps away. Active the lunchpad once your minigun is in place. Go to the otherside of the lunchpad, kill the bug socuts on your side, and let the minigun do the other.
-If it was a survey drills, there will be a darker area on the ground. That is where the drill will be called in. Drop your mini gun few steps away from the darker area.(if it was too close, the mini gun might get destoryed by the drill drop) So that if you called in both minnigun and drill, they will be in a line with the control panel where the drill is in the middle. Call in the drill once your minigun is in place, and kill the bugs scouts on your side and left the other to your minigun.
-Capature area: sometimes i do not even need a minigun to capature an area. If you wanted to be more secure, do not get too close to the capature area at first. drop your mingun first, go to the otherside of the flag once the minigun is in place.
-Before you call in your shuttle, drop the minigun on the other side of the control panel.
-The reason for geting to the other side is to not get shut by your own minigun!!!

Weapon: Laser Tanto..
While i like sickle for borgs and illuminates i find tanto far better for bugs as theyre alarms never go off untill theyre in tanto range (same for illuminate eyes). its high damage, fast spinning, rubs out bug alarms like an eraser, kills bug queens in 2 clips, and means you have a inf ammo primary weapon when carrying the box so you can keep blasting those alarms, or down on the ground which will save you from mantis's.

Perk: Stratagem priority or Cardio
I always want either faster strats or faster running, i can never bring myself to use any other perk for anything. id rather rely on myself to avoid damage and be more powerfull with these perks.

Stratagems: 1 x SH-20 Shield.. 2 x Static field.. 1 x Whatever
Static fields are simply the best against bugs, focus all energy on killing alarms and mantis's, only kill grunts if you have to or have the time. Mantis's are your biggest threat as they will take down your shield if your not proactive with them. wearing the shield allows me to run around inside thee static fields while everything else is locked down. Only tentacle bugs are a problem. I throw static fields down at the button panels of a button press objective so i cant be reached as i press it, cover defence objectives so they cant reach it (again tentacles are the only prob). if i dont take AT weps i can ignore tanks and cover the hellbomb to protect it. Also provides a safe zone for extraction. Keeping the shield up is top priority. you dont want to be taking hits, keep your distance so your shield stays up and you can move freely in thr static fields.
4th strat location i usually take UAV, Shredder, C4, Incendiary bombs, Rumbler, or whatever takes my fancy at the time. Also if im using strat priority sometimes ill go a bit more risky and only take 1 static field so i can have a UAV and still take a different 4th strat and still have a permanent static field up.

I get great success rates on helldive runs with this build, by simply ignoring everything and only killing what gets directly in my way, or will call the alarm. I leave objectives with most of the enemies alive and just lock them down with static field and leave them to thier business.. By the time the field has worn off im already at the next objective putting out my next static field

Stratagem priority/all terrain boots
-jetpack or SH20 (but the jetpack is better since you don't take cardio)
-REC6 (C4) for tanks, nests.
-hellfire bombs (static field if you prefer) It give you more time to react.
-ressuply
weapon: whatever you like (any AR work, plasma gun or the suppressor are a good option for bugs,I like to change at every missions)
In fact you can solo every helldive misions with it on all races. If you need all-terain boots you may switch to a lazer rifle and replace ressuply for another hellfirebomb/REC6 (for a better cooldown).

when you're doing an arena map the acid sprayer is extremely useful since its dot kills everything pretty quick, even tanks. The static field and napalm airstrike make quite a deadly combination for the bugs since they need to close in to do damage. Mobility is everything, take auto-injector or cardio booster as your perk.

Mg 105 Stalwart-puts a lot rounds down range

call-ins

M25 Rumbler- good area damage, toxic will take down all organic targets (bugs are organic)
SH-32 Directional Kinetic Shield- good mitigation as long as they are in fount of you
Humblebee UAV drone- can see patrols before they get close, and spot objectives
Resupply- your gonna need ammo, plus the Rumbler can be reloaded

passive

MD-99 Autoinjector- combined with the shield most opponents wont be able to deal much dmg

Ok for normal missions with a team:
Weapons: las trident, breaker, justice.
Perk: alll team member on cardio, if not everyone then priority. (on snow boots)
Stratagems: ammo backpack, rumbler, at-47, close air support. (last 2 depend on missions objectives, if there are multiple nests bring a shredder)

For normal missions solo:
Weapon: las trident.
Perk: cardio. (on snow boots)
Stratagems: 3-4x distractor beacon, either rumbler or recoiless.

For retaliatory strike:
Weapon: trident, railgun.
Perk: stratagems priority.
Stratagems: ammo, rumbler or recoiless (sometimes avenger), 2x anti-personal barrier.
healgun, at-47, 2x tesla or napalm.

Hard - Helldive...

Weapon - Sickle. This weapon doesn't tolerate poor shots or trigger-happiness nor is it particularly team friendly if you're one of those nuts who never aim before firing, but the combination of damage, rate of fire, range and lack of ammo need is simply amazing.
Alts: Justice/Breaker/Trident

Strats -
Shield - really nice protection boost, provides a bit more room for error if you have team mates that shoot first and aim later, and cuts down on speed reduction effects.
EAT-17 - arguarbly the most no-nonsense, least-caveated anti-armour option in the game.
Minigun Turret - great defence option against bugs (and borgs, for that matter) - seems to work well against non-tank heavy armour too.
Open slot on for the fourth. Normally take one of the mechs because I like teh boom-boom, Shredder if lots of nests

Perk - Displacement Field for non-snow, Boots for snow - (practical reasons, will take Cardio if I'm solo'ing)

Sickle/Trident (good for stealth as no reloading, not as powerful when enemies alerted) / Justice (power and penetration) / Paragon (not as good for killing, but useful for stopping rushes).

Rumbler's great, but if you've got launchpad / geo defence / train objectives, the bug spray is invaluable for when tanks spawn right on the objective. A quick spray from close range (get closer than the objective is to the tank) can pull aggro away, slow it down and kill the tank - much safer than trying to rumbler the tank. Can be paired with a railcannon strike to speed up tank kills.

Placing a tesla tower on the missile side of a launchpad / next to the geo tower also works well for those bug commander rushes.

Some kind of area denial will round if off - fire or static field.
