Helldivers Dive Harder Won't launch

Gave up on playing Helldivers 2 too many bugs, server and matchmaking issues. I bought Dive harder to play. played one time and the damn game won't launch. 2 new games for me by these devs and I can't play any of them.

That really sucks, but this game takes far far less to run than the new one... and neither of them give me problems to run. It's hard to hear but most likely your rig.

Try verifying your game files then rebooting your computer. After that you can try googling your specific symptoms.

The first thing I did was check the integrity of the files on Steam. Everything checked out. I tried 3 more times. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the game. Makes no sense, because I was able to play it fine for 118 minutes Nothing about my machine changed between the time I played and then attempted to play again. I don't download anything on my PC that isn't a game from an official store. I don't even surf the web, or watch YouTube from it. I don't use mods and use my pc for gaming only. Every other game I have on steam is fine and all my drivers are up to date.

I have actually played the game for about 30 hours, had a couple months break and decided to come back to it. After playing for about an hour today, the game hard crashed and after that it constantly crashes on startup. Verifying game's files didn't help, reinstalling also didn't do a thing. Restarting PC, disconnecting controller/headphones - no dice. Not in a safe mode too.

Yeah, that's the same problem I'm having. I'm not technical enough to know, but I wonder if the devs pulled all their resources from HD1 to keep HD2 afloat with all the server issues and bugs...

My display was set at 720p and the game display was set to 1080p so it didn't work, make sure they are both matched up. Was having this same issue
