Chinese player question.

I need to ask, it's been on my mind for the entire 500 hours of my play time, how? I always thought china curated their games and censored a lot of pro-democracy stuff. I don't understand how this game is even allowed. Is there regional differences? Like instead of spreading and managing democracy, does it say communism?

Side note: How do I make it so Chinese characters no longer show up as '??????'? Is it as easy as installing the language pack via windows?

I dont know how it was translated but i think even the chinese government understands that "spreading democracy" in this game is a pure parody. so it wasnt censored. somewhere i read that because skulls as symbol arent allowed in the chinese culture that the symbols are a bit different and instead of a skull it looks more like a helmet.

For the second question i dont think there is a way you can show chinese or russion lettres if you set your game to english or german

Setting your game as japanese:
Why?
1. Their female dub is pretty good
2. U can actually see chinese names
3. A whole new experience when u're bored after a lot of stuffs

Would require u to remember most stuffs before switching if u don't actually know japanese, and a side notes, the NUX's icon in japanese version is an explosion rather than your normal mushroom clouds (I think u already know why)

Strangely enough if people with non-standard coding names type in chat their name appears normally instead of ?????

It's really weird how if they type in-chat those same characters, they show up even if it's non-unicode, it's just their names that show up as "??????".
