Can't Launch Helldivers
I've played a bit of this game at a friends place local and really enjoyed it so I decided to pick this up for online play. It installed normally and I was able to get through the turorial without a hitch. Immediately following the tutorial the game crashed and any further attempts to launch result in a blank window opening followed by an eventual crash.

Fixes I've tried so far:
- Verified Game File Integrity
- Deleted previous game save states from steam library
- Updated video card drivers
- Uninstalled and reinstalled game

So far no luck. Has anyone else seen this type of crash?

Sometimes it just needs you to exit and get back on steam, it sometime fixes crashes of that type, if this tiny dumb trick doesnt work, id say to reboot your computer, or else hope someone with better ideas to share...

Check Arrowhead's workarounds thread:

*Only thing I see there that might match your situation is the firewall setting issue, the last one. I just don't remember if you get a black screen when unable to connect to campaign backend or more of an error message.

It could explain why you can play the tutorial, which is something you play offline.

Might also help for troubleshooting, to mention what video card you're using. And maybe to make sure whatever PC/laptop you're using isn't mistakenly using an internal GPU or GPU-built-into-CPU that the game perhaps can't technically run on (I think that's come up here on rare occasion).
