I dont see the Relation and wont care, if the relation is "Bugs looking like tyran. and Cybs could be seen as Chaos and Illumints could be the Eldars" then maybe, since Cybs arent on their own minds, Illumints are rather technological and bugs do look like some Tyran. bugs...

...though it is not like any 40k, if there is one like it just show it...

This game has heavy warhammer feel(especialy mechs very feel like dred's) , hell , if this was modable i bet we would have tons of cool warhammer mods by now

Yeah more the lore than the actual video games though... A small team of elite over equipped warriors conquering planets against alien (xeno) scum. even their over the top enthusiasm fits in. Not trying to slag the developers off, this was just a massive missed opportunity for Games Workshop.

The closest to W40K in this game is the CR-9 Suppressor, aka the Bolter. Fun weapon to use and believe you are a space marine, but difficult to use because you can kill yourself easily like a IG conscript.
