Helldivers PC really isn't a system cruncher per se, so I'd say it's worth a shot and you can always get a Steam refund (within 2 hours play time; and obviously if it doesn't run or doesn't run well enough to enjoy, that's probably a moot point) .
Windows has always been a RAM hog so I've always suggested 8GB or more though not all laptops are easily upgraded.
That said, I was able to play fine on it across all difficulties, up to 4 players, including bosses, Retaliatory Strikes, and Hell Dives.
Eventually I got a desktop PC which is much better at it and even lets me record 1080p gameplay while I am playing, but for your question, I believe your laptop will be fine, just not great.
Steam will let you get refund if you try it for <14 days playing <2 hours and find it not working well on your machine.
