Does anybody like to Role Play with Mics in this game?

I was wondering if anybody has any interest in creating an RP group to role play during missions.

Thing I have in mind:
- Some military jargons and ranks.
- Assigned roles (leader to coordinate next objectives and path, "hacker", support, driver, bomber, etc...).
- Leader role is required.
- Assigned codenames (that should be used).
- NO RUSHING (the objective is to have fun creating stories, not to win).

Optional stuff:
- Reset progress.
- Include the lore of this game into the conversations.
- Be a good player.

Forbidden:
- Be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ towards other players.

Caveats (by including me):
- English is my second language... so some lag might happen during conversations.
- I'm not a veteran Helldivers player.
- I've never role played during a video game.

its to hectic for that, i mean in lower levels yeah sure. But higher levels i dont see myself RP'ing to seriously.
I've done something similar, we basicly act like trolling Space MArines from WarHammer40k.

Damn I would so much like to participate, I never RP with mic, but I was RP without it so much already...
BUT...
I'm in a situation in my life that I don't have stable internet connection or a PC to play Helldivers... This will change in the future, hopefuly, maybe in this month, I can't promise you anything however...

Just my personal opinion, this game isn't for RP.
I've RPed a lot in my life and in many games that are more suited for this kind of activity.
The game is hectic most of the time not offering you room for very immersive RP.
It lacks emotes and animations to represent diverse character actions.

The only RP you can do in this game is 'voice' type RP wich is the basic of basics in terms of gaming RP.
I for one just wouldn't bother with it in this game as i got better options for RP, but good luck to the ones who want to try.

This explains everything Mr. NotSuitedForRolePlay. Want to participate? Come on and join and participate. You must be an expert if you did so many Role Plays already you could help us and show us the way. But if you only came to differ us from this idea well you're in the wrong place. Mr. Nicolas set his mind on this and that's what he'll do.

I find touch-typing text is superior to a voice with a mic because then I can be a female Helldiver. When I get into the M5 APC or M5 32-HAV I always apologize for the stench due to my Helldiver's "heavy" day... if ya know what I mean! That's the level of role-playing I do. Just general fun, witty banter most of the time, not developing a story or anything. It's more character-driven humor than anything, and there's plenty of potential for it BECAUSE of the chaos and all manner of tragedy/comedy and buffonery that happens in a game like this!

I love roleplaying even though I tend to wanna solo as much of this game as possible... I've noticed I'm one of the few who constantly position myself out of friendly line of fire and always got peoples back when they're slowed for whatever reason and stuff like such - which people apparently rarely ever do for eachother which is so odd.
