"Never give up. Never surrender." Info for those who think how to get this achievement.

Looking for a group of people to get this achevement the easy way. The idea is to take lv 8-9 mission. Defend group with turrets and get this quiet and save. At least one has to have a plasma rifle ( i have but the more the merrier). The one who gets achievement stands near obstacle (wall, stone etc.). The wall gets a shoot from plas-1 (it has aoe damage) and player is in "red" (lying on the floor bleeding). He prepares a stratagem for the team revival. Other 3 kill each other (granade is a good option). Stratagem used. Achievement got. Repeat 3 more times.
We'll need a full 4 man team, to get this stupid achievement.

For anyone reading that might not know what this achievement[helldivers.gamepedia.com] is:

Use the Reinforce Stratagems while downed and the last Helldiver alive on a difficulty 8 or higher mission with 4 players.

This is a very natural achievement; you don't need to orestrate it at all. In fact, all Helldivers achievements are pretty natural except two, but both those are easy.

Anyway, where most newer players go wrong is that they simply don't reinforce while they're downed. Instead, they try to get up, then reinforce later—not realizing you can still call stratagems while you're down. If you remember to call in your teammates while you're downed instead of trying to get up first, you'll have it in no time.

If you want to speed things up, play on the highest difficulty that you can feasibly manage.

i played on 15 lv. Succesfull even. And just 3 achievement left.
This is the only one i can't get on my own. Other 2 are kill 100 000 enemies and open all non DLC gear. I don't want to play and think about this ♥♥♥♥ in the middle of a firefight. And it is better to not get in that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ situation as stated in conditions for this achievement.

If you were thinking about it in the middle of the fight, that wouldn't be natural, but you don't need to do that, hence why I said it was natural.

Yes, obviously that would be ideal. It's still going to happen though.

The achievement isn't saying, "Get into this bad situation."
The achievement is saying, "You're going to get into this bad situation whether you like it or not. The question is, will you survive it?"

Anyway, I'm just giving you the heads up that you're probably wasting your time trying to set this up when you're just going to get it eventually anyway. Good luck though.

Thanks. But i don't think one might get achievement for getting in M-5 on friday at the same time naturaly. And it is much easier to get it once save and forget it like a bad dream.

You would not consider this an easy achievement? I did not say all achievements were natural. I said that they are either natural or easy.

Easy ... is a ralative term. Can i get this achievement naturally? Yes. How much time will it take? No idea. Maybe today. Maybe tomorow. And maybe even in a half year. Why wait? Just get it and forget it. This is why i hate this achievement ♥♥♥♥! Games were so much better without them.
Any way. It is easier to just take plams gun and kill your teamates on your own, bloody yourself and then resurect them, then do it naturally. That is an easy way, but also a jerk way.
This is not a first post like this by the way. Almost a year ago there was a simmilar post and people apparantly just did it. And no one argued if they will get it eventually or not.

You don't have to get them if they bother you. You don't get anything for them.

Not the most simple achivement to get as it requires players to be, well playing badly.

Becomes much more impossible, as you start getting players that don't die in the first place or as you get better.

Good news, you do not need 3 other players, if you have enoungh controllers and USB ports you could solo this one.

The great thing about extra players is you can kill them by using the drop out option in the games menu, so all you need is a way to down yourself, have your spares drop out and rejoin, revive.

If you don't have the hardware, you can still use controllers to lower the player count required, it is far easier to have your 2nd controller and 2 other players instead of 3 for this sort of achievement.

Since the APC achievement was mention, that can be soloed too, if you have the required controllers and you may set the date on your computer to Friday, if you cannot wait till Friday.

It is easy to down yourself with plas-1 weapon. I have one fully uprgaded and when i shoot it in the wall near me, i get healthbar halfed and myself bleeding on the ground. The problem is ... i had just one controller ... and it broke so i disposed of it.
Is there some kind of programm to emulate those things? To cheat system in to beliving that 4 players play it on 1 PC?

Ok, i got it. Joined some ... new guys on high difficulty. They all have died on evac. And i had plas-1. So i run away, lowered my health and resqued everyone. I had to lower my health intentionally to get this achievement. So I am closing this thread.
By the way. How the hell do i close this thread?
