Worth picking up on PS4 ?

Is it fun? Is the community alive there? I can have it for free so I'm wondering if I should ask this one or choose another PS4 game.

I'm playing Helldivers both PS4 and PC and I can say the community is more active on PS4. Still, I prefer playing on PC since smooth communication.

If I recall corectly, just say if I'm wrong, Helldivers was multi-platform for all PlayStation. So PS3 and PS4 and so on players should be able to play together. But not PS and PC. They just share war influence. Am I right?

Oh that would be great! That also explains why all the covers state: "includes PS3, PS4, Vita editions". I was confused about what did it mean (and I'm still confused because you're not supposed to shove the PS4 disc into a PS3 , so how do you get its version?).
By the way, I decided to get it so it should arrive today with the other games. Will try it out and report back here.

wait for a sale on psn or get it on steam as communication via typing is god tier as very few on ps3/4/vita use voice comms ive found.
