How to turn on the red aiming Laser Sight?
Hi, as mentioned above, may i know how can i turn on the red aiming laser sight?
This is my third days of playing Helldivers only and I have been using the same gun for awhile. At first it has red aiming laser sight that helps me knowing where actually i aim and shoots, but on the second day of playing, the red aiming laser sight just gone... Using the same gun.

Can anyone please tell me how do i turn it back on? Do i need to equip some equipment or maybe i messed up with my setting?
Thank you.

The "Laser Aim Module" is technically a Perk, which you need to enable using the Armory console in your ship (the console to the left/west in your ship interior).

We all receive the Perk at the start, but you do have to enable it (select the perk) via ship armory.

If you noticed the laser sight on day 1, that's probably because it's provided with your basic assault rifle for the training/tutorial sessions and training mission. After that, once you start playing the regular campaign missions, I believe you have to go into Perks on your ship console and select it to equip it.

Note that the perk only applies to your Main Weapon and Sidearm, not weapons dropped in via stratagem (some stratagem weapons have an upgrade that adds to it a laser sight).

Hope this helps. :steamhappy: Do note that most of us eventually find later perks way, way more useful in terms of keeping us alive.

If you use kb/mouse, you get a crosshair (though it doesn't quite work as it does in most other twin-stick shooters) on screen that makes it easier to know where you're aiming. My understanding is gamepad play doesn't offer that.

Yeah this is something that boggles me mind a bit, if you use K&M you basically have a laser sight without equipping one but why is that we do the have it with a controller, I find controlling the movement of my character with the keyboard is a little wonky but is essentially the same thing as a controller if you have the control scheme set to mouse and keyboard, wasd move and mouse points and shoots, the wonky thing for me is using the keyboard as movement and the guy just kinda moves freely there is the any sprint - walking variation is either run or don't move at all and it just feels weird to me, but I still don't understand why MK gets cross hairs but do troller doesn't

With time you will get used to aim and drop the laser sight for much more useful perks. :)
