for example Overwatch is coming out, 60 bucks for that game tho, but every character is unlocked and stuff, because you can change your Char while you are ingame and stuff.
For me personally it's fun to unlock heroes throughout playing the game, like in LoL or Smite and other games, Dota2 has all unlocked and it's still F2P and many people play it.

The concept of being able to spend money or not is so much better, if you want a special hero, buy it with money or wait until you have enough ingame currency to buy it.

This whole pay once for a lifetime and with seasons passes because of DLC's is not my thing I don't have one game in my Library that does something like that and if so, I wouldn't buy DLC's until they are cheaper.

Not because I'm a cheap ass hoe, I just think it's worth waiting for something you want, lol.

The game is very promising and fun to play. My only complain is that you should be able to lower the...lets call it "Special effects" sometimes there is so much explosion and stuff on the screen, that you don't see the enemy, that is hitting you in the face in front of you.

Also i don't get people complaining about the price. The deluxe edition with seasons pass costs just about 65 €. That is a New game. I don't know what it is with you all, but here in Germany you can expect a New Game having a price of 50 to 60 €. And that is mostly without any DLCs (since you will buy the seasons pass here you will automatically have most dlcs from the game when they are out).

Too much for you? Count yourself lucky that you are on steam and you can wait for it to be cheap at some events.

People are used to pay 60 or 100 for s*** called CoDs and BFs, so when an actually good game hits the shelves for the same price they will still complain

I enjoyed the beta, and I honestly hope this game has a strong player base for more than a couple months, but that's generally how full priced multiplayer games go, especially FPS, this game would enjoy a much longer lifespan if it was f2p, and had microtransactions for cosmetic gear. I just don't see people sticking with this game a year or two after launch, simply because the problem with a full price model is you don't continually bring in new players long after release, so the playerbase grows stagnant, and eventually people just stop playing. I really enjoyed this game, and I'm not arguing that the game isn't worth $60, the only thing I'm concerned with is the player base and longevity, that alone makes me reconsider purchasing the game, and will make others reconsider as well...


Not to mention, the game has gone largely unnoticed by just about everyone, this game will be DOA if they don't get the word out, and fast.

It's a really fun game, but full price release and still money for a season pass ? Pass.

I liked it alot, people saying it should be F2P remember this is gonna be on console.
Anyways, for what its worth i have over 3k hours on dota2 and I enjoyed this game so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ much. I didnt think I would, but I did. Content doesnt carry over? GOOD! I like unlocking ♥♥♥♥, lol,grow up, this game is worth $60 and you know it, stop trying to sound cool. It's the damn internet, no one cares.

This game is competing with overwatch. for those of you that didn't get into that beta, this game has some catching up to to do

for some reason i cant download the beta it it dosent appeair to be there i had the beta before but it said i was mising a patch so i deleted the game and went to redownload it but now its not here do antone know what is going on or am i just a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ who cant find it

@That_One_Guy when you played overwatch and battleborn you should know, that both are totally different and should not be compared to each other, just because the genre seems familiar.

It's an enjoyable game in short play sessions but at 90ish dollars CND, it's most likely going to be a pass.

Right now itemization is super lackluster, and melee is a cluster-****. Getting constantly creep blocked, as EVERYTHING has collision even allied minions. Too many particles - explosions and bubble AoE on top of trying to fight around minions getting in your way.

Perfect example would be Kelvin, he's a short melee bruiser...now normally i'd love playing a hero like this but the camera is in his mouth not his eyes. So you're seeing lower than normal and 30% of the screen is already covered by your teeth. Then when you go to use your E on a minion or player you blind yourself during the bite since your mouth closes.

Fully expected to be playing doom for the majority of the weekend, an hour later I was depressed, dejected and bitterly dissapointed, decided to give this a go instead 25-30 hours of playtime, little bit put off by the price however I do belive I would get value for money in terms of hours played. (plus I'll probably pick it up on the cheap from somewhere!)

Battleborn is sort of casual TF2 with moba elements, whilst Overwatch is the competetive TF2 with more of arena shooter elements than moba elements? That's best way I think I can describe the 2 games

Further to my below comment regarding price and so many people being put off by it, have a look around (I'm not even talking shady cd key sites here, many large retailers are offering this at far more appealing prices delivered via steam).
